Dozens of journalists lined up in El Salvador to pose questions to leaders after the FA-HUM May 5 opening ceremony. FA-HUM is a regionally-oriented foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief command post and field training exercise that's designed to build partner nation capacity to respond to a major disaster. The U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and Army South-executed two weeklong event also strengthens military and security force collaboration and hemispheric cooperation involving regional military and civilian agencies.
