Soldiers of the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Watercraft) quickly responded to an explosion of a 28-foot fishing boat that occurred at the civilian side of the North Carolina State Port in Morehead City on April 3. They assisted in first aid and damage control until civilian authorities arrived. Here, Chief Warrant Officer Randy Grady tries to explain to one of the victims what he believes may have happened.
