John Garvin, Office of Naval Research (ONR), Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare and Combating Terrorism department's demonstration manager, explains to Atlantic Beach, N.C., councilwoman, Trish Ide, the Developmental Test (DT) - 02 for the Operational Adaptation Integrated Technology Demonstration (ITD-1) being held at Bogue Field, Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field, in Carteret County, N.C. Relying on the support offered by the North Carolina, state, county, and local municipalities, DT-02 is the second event in a series intended to pull together various sensor technologies, including air, surface, and subsurface, militarily relevant information, which through a common information space can be easily interpreted by warfighters in a operations center.
