Tech. Sgt. Brandon Hooten oversees an Iraqi maintainer as he moves a Cessna 208B Caravan to its parking place after its arrival back to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, Nov. 26. Sgt. Hooten is a crew chief with the 521st Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, ensuring the Iraqi air force, 3rd Squadron maintainers are trained and, in time, certified in their specialties. The 521st AEAS mission is to lay the foundational maintenance capabilities as well as provide pilot mission, intel, air traffic control and life support training for the Iraqi air force through their motto, "train, advise and assist." Sgt. Hooten is deployed from Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
