Will Mizell, a native of Tucker, Ga. and vice president of People and Control for Waffle House, was presented with a plaque in appreciation of being the guest speaker for the second annual Hydra Ball hosted by the 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade in Columbus, at the Columbus Iron Works Convention and Trade Center, on May 17. Mizell, a Waffle House employee since 1989, is also the Lead Coordinator of Crisis and Emergency Response efforts for Waffle House. Waffle House has adopted the slogan of “Effective first, efficient second” by striving to remain open during emergencies and disasters to provide meals to emergency workers.
