An anti-personnel obstacle breaching system is detonated during a combined obstacle breaching exercise between Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines May 9 as part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-6 in Pohang, Republic of Korea. An APOBS is an explosive line charge that allows safe breaching through complex antipersonnel obstacles, particularly fields of land mines. From planning to execution, KMEP 14-6 has been a bilateral and collaborative effort between ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Cedric R. Haller II/Released)
