Townsend, Del., native Spc. Benjamin Whiteman, a loader with 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, loads a weapon, May 12, during the 2014 Sullivan Cup Best Tank Crew Competition. Four Soldiers from Company C, 2nd Bn., 69th Armor Regt., 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, competed in the 2014 Sullivan Cup Best Tank Crew at Fort Benning, Ga. The weeklong event, from May 12-15, tested the Soldiers in a variety of armor tank crew core competencies using a physical challenge, gunnery and offensive and defensive maneuvering with the Closed Combat Tactical Trainer. The 2nd Bn., 69th Armor Regt. was named the best tank crew in a ceremony May 15.
