    3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command

    Spc. Logan R. Broome, a Dawsonville, Ga., native, is a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the 503rd Maintenance Company, 398th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade. The company is on call 24/7 to support any and every customer that has maintenance needs. Spc. Broome loves to work and enjoys a challenge. His work ethic is paramount. An example of his efforts was noted when he was called back to the automotive bay, following a full day's work, to be the primary mechanic on a 10K forklift job that needed immediate assistance. The forklift arrived to the 503rd on the evening of, Nov. 25. Forklifts are considered pacing items in Iraq because they are essential in facilitating most missions. The 503rd Maintenance Company Soldiers are currently serving a 15-month tour of duty in Iraq in support of the Multi-National Division -Baghdad.
