    'Warrior' command team presents Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment with Awards

    Lt. Col. Tim Watson, a native of San Diego and commander of the 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, awards Capt. Joshua Culp, an ordnance officer from Mandeville, La., Forward Support Company E, 2nd Bn., 4th Inf. Regt., a U.S. Army Bronze Star Medal for his service in support of Multi-National Division - Baghdad, Dec. 13, during an end of tour awards ceremony at Forward Operating Base Falcon, located in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Watson presented the Soldiers of FSC E Bronze Star Medals, U.S. Army Commendation Medals, and Army Achievement Medals to recognize the Soldiers of the 2nd, 'Warriors' Bn.'s dedication and service during the 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Pvt. Joshua Weiand, an infantryman from Canton, Ohio, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Bn., 4th Inf. Regt., carried the citations for the Soldiers during the presentation. The Warriors Bn. is part of the 10th Mountain Division's 4th Brigade Combat Team, stationed at Fort Polk, La. The Warriors Battalion, currently attached to the 1st BCT, 4th Infantry Division is preparing to redeploy early next month.
