Earl J. Barbry Sr., chief and chairman of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, receives the Louisiana National Guard Distinguished Civilian Service Medal at a recent ceremony at Paragon Casino in Marksville, La. Brig. Gen. Stephen C. Dabadie, principal advisor to the adjutant general for programs, policies and plans, presented the certificate, medal and framed picture to Barbry and employees of the casino on behalf of the LANG. Also in attendance were Chris Barbry, acting general manager of Paragon Casino, Barbry's children and members of the 1020th Vertical Company, 527th Engineer Battalion.
