An F-15E Strike Eagle is parked on the runway for Skyfest 2014 at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., May 31, 2014. The two-person aircraft is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems gives the F-15E the capability to fight at low altitude, day or night, and in all weather. The F-15 is here from Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. SkyFest is Fairchild's air show and open house, giving the local and regional community the opportunity to view Airmen and our resources. The event typically draws more than 150,000 people. SkyFest 2008, headlined by the Blue Angels, was the largest event held in Spokane since the 1974 World's Fair. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Alexandre Montes/Released)
