Bill Braack has the Smoke-N-Thunder jet car taxied back to a hangar through a crowd during SkyFest 2014 at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., June 1, 2014. The jet car is equipped with a J34-48 engine originally used in the North American Buckeye T-2A aircraft. The jet car has 10,000 horsepower and 6,000 pounds of thrust with an afterburner. The jet car races at speeds approaching nearly 400 mph. During the performance, Braack pulls 4.5 G's when accelerating and experiences 11 G's of negative force as the car comes to a stop.
