Petty Officer 1st Class Justin Boes, U.S. Coast Guard Station Key West, Key West, Fla., briefs his crew on the next pursuit and recovery drill they will perform here on June 5. Boes, a pursuit and tactical instructor, is the lead instructor for the maritime law enforcement training at Tradewinds 2014 where he trains partner nations' maritime law enforcement units how to operate and maneuver 33-foot Interceptor Response Boats. Tradewinds is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
