Staff Sgt. Christopher Tobias handles the forward directional intenna on a Theater Airborne Reconnaissance System pod at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Dec. 21. Ground commanders use TARS pods' imagery to achieve their tactical objectives. Tobias, one of four 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron avionics maintainers responsible for the 332nd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron's TARS pods, is a native of Long Beach, Calif., and is deployed from Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.
