Displayed is a Christmas stocking filled with gifts donated to Marines and sailors of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), and Combat Logistics Battalion 3 by Moms4RMarines.org for Operation Santa. The packages arrived to Camp Bastion on Christmas Eve with just enough time to be loaded onto the aircraft and distributed to all the service members at forward operating bases throughout Southern Afghanistan early Christmas morning. 3/8 and CLB-3 are the ground and logistics combat elements of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Afghanistan.
