A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter lands to deliver mail and Christmas packages during Operation Santa, Dec. 25, 2008. HMH-466, part of the air combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Afghanistan, supported the battalion commanders of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), and Combat Logistics Battalion 3, the ground and logistics combat elements of SPMAGTF-A, as they conducted Operation Santa early Christmas morning, delivering mail, food and gifts to all their Marines and sailors in Southern Afghanistan.
