St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Able Seaman Tamika Simmons inspects U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Omar Perez's photo identification as part of a training exercise here on June 7. Perez and three fellow U.S. Coast Guardsmen role played drug traffickers while Simmons and a team of four other maritime service members practiced boarding and detainment procedures as part of the military law enforcement training track at Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined, exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
