Military intelligence (MI) soldiers from across the U.S. and Canada organize into different units to form a notional combined joint task force at Panther Strike 2014. The exercise is designed to leverage the soldiers' various MI specialties in the human, counter, signals, imagery, geo-spatial and all-source intelligence fields in order to capture or eliminate cells of Taliban and al-Qaeda insurgents in a simulated valley of Afghanistan’s Kunar province laid out on Camp Williams outside Salt Lake City, Utah.
