The USS San Diego cruises in the water as part of a maritime interdiction operations (MIO) training exercise conducted during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 11, 2014. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Amphibious Squadron 5.
