Lt. Col. Robert Petty reads a promotion order for Capt. Kevin Danaher, who was promoted while flying an F-16 Fighting Falcon over Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dec. 25. Petty, assistant director of operations for the 14th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, is a native of Bryan, Texas. Danaher, the 14th EFS standardization and evaluations liaison officer, is a native of Crystal River, Fla. Both officers are deployed from Misawa Air Base, Japan.
