Major Shanye P. Major Yenzer was awarded the medal for serving as the Logistics Officer for the 26 MEU, II MEF, from July 2009 - February 2014. Major Yenzer led all logistics efforts in two pre-deployment training programs and planned and supervised twelve different training exercises.
