Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a sailor with the USS San Diego, work together while conducting a foreign object damage (FOD) walk on the flight deck of the USS San Diego as part of flight operations conducted during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 18, 2014. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5.
