The honor guard detachment assigned to 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad hold the national and battalion colors side by side representing the transition between the Paratroopers of 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., and Soldiers of the 5th Battalion, 25th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division on Dec. 31, 2008, at Forward Operating Rustamiyah. The 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment will assist Iraqi security forces in the Al Karradah District of eastern Baghdad during its 12-month deployment.
