Col. Ted Martin and Command Sgt. Maj. Darren Werner, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Ronny Martinez, top enlisted leader, for the 4th Support Battalion, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., MND-B, Jan. 7, at Forward Operating Base Falcon in southern Baghdad's Rashid District. The Early Bird Award is presented to the first battalion to reach its retention goals for the fiscal year.
