Deputy Commander Combined Task Force for Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014, Rear Adm. Simon Cullen, welcomes guests onboard HMAS Success for the Australian Reception. HMAS Success hosted the Australian Reception for RIMPAC in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii June 29. About 400 guests attended, including representatives from foreign military services and Australian and foreign Governments. RIMPAC is a biennial military training exercise conducted to strengthen international maritime partnerships, enhance interoperability and improve the readiness of participating forces for a wide range of potential operations. The Australian Defence Force took part in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2014 (RIMPAC) between June 26 and Aug. 1, 2014.
