About 400 guests, including representatives from foreign military services and Australian and foreign Governments, attend the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014 Australian Reception onboard HMAS Success in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. HMAS Success hosted the Australian Reception for Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2014 (RIMPAC) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, June 29. About 400 guests attended, including representatives from foreign military services and Australian and foreign governments. The Reception was co-hosted by Australian Consulate General in Honolulu, Scott Dewar, deputy commander Combined Task Force, Rear Adm. Simon Cullen and Commanding Officer HMAS Success, Capt. Allison Norris. RIMPAC is a biennial military training exercise conducted to strengthen international maritime partnerships, enhance interoperability and improve the readiness of participating forces for a wide range of potential operations. The Australian Defence Force took part in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2014 (RIMPAC) between June 26 and Aug. 1, 2014.
