Maj. Thomas Ryan, 99th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron mission pilot, receives his final salute as he taxies out prior to his 2000 hour flight at the helm of a U-2 Dragon Lady, Jan. 9. Maj. Ryan is the 25th pilot to reach the 2000 hour milestone. Maj. Ryan is deployed to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing from the 9th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB, Calif. and hails from Sneads Ferry, N.C.
