Army mariners from the 163rd Transportation Detachment and their U.S. Navy counterparts load 15 vehicles directly from the shore onto Logistic Support Vessel-2, U.S. Army Vessel CW3 Harold C. Clinger, during Combined Joint Logistics Over the Shore (CJLOTS) operations on Ford Island, Hawaii, July 11 as part of exercise Rim of the Pacific 2014. The LSV has both bow and stern ramps for roll-on and -off operations and can beach itself to load or discharge cargo over the shore in as little as 4 feet of water. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
