FORT MCPHERSON, Ga. (January 11, 2006) - Sgt. Casey Parker, a medic assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Third U.S. Army, gives a shot to Sgt. Yolanda Hanson of the 164th Terminal Supervision Team, as part of her Soldier Readiness Check. Third Army conducts a unit SRC every quarter to ensure Soldiers are deployable. During the SRC, Soldiers go through various stations to ensure their medical, legal, financial and personnel records are up to date. As the Army component for U.S. Central Command, Third Army maintains a headquarters not only at Fort McPherson but also at Camp Arifijan, Kuwait. As a result, it is important for Soldiers' records be up to date since members of the unit travel back and forth frequently to the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility. (Photo by Spc. Bryce S.
