National Guard Pararescue (PJ) members arrive on site, via air drop, of a simulated accident scene to extradite victims and render care on-scene during the National Guard PATRIOT 2014 exercise at Volk Field, Wis. The PJs were air-dropped from a Nevada Air National Guard C-130 with all the gear, including vehicles, various power tools and medical equipment, to aid in the victim-extraction effort. Several units of the Air National Guard, Army National Guard and Reserve units from several states are working with local, state, and national organizations to train on, perform, and assess their ability to respond to multiple emergencies.
