Sgt. Joseph Young (left) and Sgt. Jongyoon Lee, both musicians assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Band, strike a few tunes on their guitars during an Independence Day celebration at Hood Stadium at Fort Hood, Texas, July 4. The band is composed of percussionists and vocalists as well as Soldiers who play wind, brass and string instruments. The band performs at division functions and throughout the community. Earlier this month, the band performed at the Good Neighbor awards dinner on Fort Hood. Later this month, the band will perform at Survivor Bash, a concert for Gold Star families.
