Capt. Aaron T. Nelson plans the route to the next coordinates on a map July 16 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. Nelson, an Arlington, Texas, native, was flying the CH-53 Super Stallion as part of an air training exercise. Nelson is the officer in charge of the detachment flight line Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 467, Marine Aircraft Group 29, currently attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 Reinforced, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
