A CH-53 Super Stallion lands during an air training exercise July 16 at the Central Training Area. The aircraft was flown by Maj. Benjamin M. Davenport, a Poulsbo, Washington, native, and Capt. Aaron T. Nelson, an Arlington, Texas, native. Davenport is the officer in charge of the CH-53E detachment, and Nelson is the officer in charge of the detachment flight line. Both are with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, currently attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 Reinforced, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
