    Offshore Petroleum Discharge System

Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1 lay repair barge lays conduit from the Maritime Administration transport oiler SS Chesapeake (T-AOT 5084) into the Arabian Sea. Naval Beach Group (NBG) 1 and ACB-1, both homeported in Coronado, Calif., and Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1, home-ported in Little Creek, Va., installed the legacy Offshore Petroleum Discharge System (OPDS) in Oman to replace the existing multipoint mooring system that has been condemned beyond repair.
