Members of the Seabee Leadership Mess tour training simulator USS Trayer (BST 21) at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Ill. Trayer, a 210-foot mock-up of an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, simulates shipboard emergencies during the grueling, 12-hour Battle Stations capstone evaluation of Recruits' training. The leadership mess, comprised of more than 30 command master chiefs and senior enlisted leaders from Seabee-related commands, met at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill., Nov. 4-7 to discuss significant issues in the Naval construction force and also to attend the graduation of recruit division 426, which was sponsored by Naval Facilities Engineering Command and the Seabees.
