Gen. James F. Amos holds a town hall meeting with Marines of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced) and Combat Logistics Battalion 3, the ground and logistics combat elements of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, during a visit to Camp Barber, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Feb. 5. Amos, the assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, visited the Marines to inform them of current Marine Corps issues. SPMAGTF-A's goal is to set the conditions for the Afghan security forces to grow, gain effectiveness and succeed against the enemy.
