Lt. Gen. Samuel Helland answers questions from Marines at Camp Barber, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Feb. 6. Helland, the commander of U.S. Marine Forces Central Command, visited the Marines of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced) and Combat Logistics Battalion 3, the ground and logistics combat elements of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, as part of his battlefield tour of southern Afghanistan. SPMAGTF-A is here to assist the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in finding Afghan solutions to Afghan issues.
