Lance Cpl. Paul Stacey, a postal clerk, sorts through hundreds of pounds of recruit mail at the depot post office Aug. 11, 2014 on Parris Island, S.C. Mail is delivered to recruits Monday through Saturday. To ensure recruit mail arrives in a timely manner, Stacey stresses the importance of proper packaging and addressing to include a full name, full unit name, post office box and return address.
