A memorial in honor of Staff Sgt. Ray Rangel, a fire emergency services technician, sits quietly following a remembrance ceremony held as a tribute to Rangel, Feb. 13. Rangel died, Feb. 13, 2005, while attempting to save two Soldiers trapped in an overturned humvee in a canal in northern Iraq. The memorial was constructed in 2007 in memoriam of Rangel and the ultimate sacrifice he made.
