Slovak Capt. Lubomir Januska, a native of Trenčí, Slovakia, who serves on a Slovak Security Force Advisory Team, Regional Command-South, hands a bottle of water to a Romanian soldier at the end of a 5K run on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 29, 2014. RC-South service members and civilians ran the 5K in recognition of the 70th Anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising in 1944 when Slovak rebels rose up and resisted fascism and the Nazi regime.
