Sergeant Daniel Knight (right), non-lethal weapons instructor with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Crown Point, Ind., demonstrates the proper use of the body cuff to a Peruvian Marine during a tour aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Sept. 1, 2014. The tour consisted of multiple static displays showcasing the capabilities the Marines and Sailors with SPMAGTF-South bring to the ship. During the ship’s port visit, the Marines and Sailors also participated in a key leader engagement with Peruvian diplomats and military officials and an evening reception held in the ship’s hangar bay.
