Later that day, a Virginia man fell about four feet and smash his head on a boulder. Assisted by Tech. Sgt. Jeffery Boyette and Karen Boyette, Pranzo treated a Y-shaped gash in the man’s forehead using Pranzo’s shoelace and a pair of shorts from a small child’s diaper bag.
