Staff Sgt. Michael Smith, Capt. Jon Cato, 1st Lt. Jason Brown and Tech Sgt. Elton Phew. 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, KC-10 Extender crew, prepare for a historical flight, Feb. 29. The all black crew flew together in celebration of African-American History Month paying tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen that paved the way. Sergeant Smith is deployed from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., and hails from Baltimore, Md. Cato is deployed from Travis AFB, Calif., and hails from Raleigh, N.C. Brown is deployed from McGuire AFB, N.J., and hails from Arvada, Colo. Phew is deployed from McGuire AFB, N.J., and hails from Atlanta.
