Tech. Sgt. Elton Phew, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, flight engineer, checks the exterior of a KC-10 Extender as part of pre-flight checks, Feb. 29. Phew was part of an all black crew flying together commemorating African-American History Month, paying tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen that paved the way. Phew is deployed from McGuire AFB, N.J., and hails from Atlanta.
