Capt. Marcus Long, a native of Patton, Mo., assigned to the National Police Transition Team, currently attached to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, gives an Iraqi child an assortment of school supplies during a school supply distribution event, Feb. 25, at the Shana and Shorwq kindergarten in the city of Karada. The kindergarten was one of two schools to receive items from the combined forces. Most of the school supplies were donated to the Iraqi schools by organizations and family members of deployed Soldiers back in the U.S.
