Iraqi Sgt. Maj. Thamir, assigned to the 1st National Police Brigade, 1st NP Div., provides first aid to an Iraqi child during a foot patrol in the city of Karada. The combined forces were on there way to the Qairwan elementary school when the boy's father rushed over to the patrol with his injured son. The boy was treated for a large gash on his head. After the bleeding strop, the boy was given a toy for his courage.
