Sailors with the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force received a visit from Master Chief Petty Officer Frank Johnson, the command master chief of II Marine Expeditionary Force and Master Chief Petty Officer Russell W. Foley, the command master chief of 2nd Marine Division, at the GCEITF battalion aid station, Sept. 11, 2014. The sailors had the opportunity to ask questions and speak personally with the Navy senior enlisted leadership. From October 2014 to July 2015, the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force will conduct individual and collective level skills training in designated ground combat arms occupational specialties in order to facilitate the standards based assessment of the physical performance of Marines in a simulated operating environment performing specific ground combat arms tasks.
