Senior Airman John Cumiskey, an aircrew flight equipment technician with the 379th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, performs a Periodic Maintenance Inspection on a HGU 55/P Flyers helmet, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The PMI is performed after every 90 days of use and every aspect of the helmet is checked for function. Airman Cumiskey is native to Fairfield, Conn., and deployed from Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
