British soldiers from 5, 6, and 7 Military Intelligence Battalions, 1 Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Brigade, hold security in a simulated village during a patrol as part of Exercise Phoenix Odyssey on Sept. 14, 2014. The day’s training focused on Tactical Site Exploitation (TSE), where the Marines of 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, and their British counterparts shared techniques in gathering intelligence in the field. The two forces are co-located in a Military Operations in Urban Terrain training facility on Camp Lejeune for the nearly week long, scenario driven, bilateral exercise.
