Capt. David Donohue, head of Talon Reach IV, the final exercise of Infantry Officer Course (IOC), explains the structure of a terrain model at hangar 109 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Thursday, August 19, 2014. IOC relocated to MCAS Yuma from Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., in order to acquaint its students with the aviation combat element and its capabilities to supplement ground maneuver tactics. The students teamed up with pilots and crew chiefs from Marine Aviation and Weapons Squadron 1, based out of MCAS Yuma, to rehearse the plan of action for the exercise.
